Focus on

  • High-touch surfaces: door handles, light switches, remotes, taps and phones
  • The bathroom: toilet, sink, flush handle and floor
  • Bedding, towels and clothes, washed on the hottest setting the label allows

Method

  1. Wear gloves, and open windows for ventilation
  2. Clean with detergent first, to remove dirt
  3. Then use a household disinfectant, following the label and the contact time
  4. Wash cloths and mop heads afterwards, and wash your hands

Never mix

Use one product at a time, and never mix bleach with any other cleaner.

Common questions

Do I need to disinfect everything?

Cleaning with detergent handles most surfaces. Use disinfectant on high-touch areas and in the bathroom.
